update!
me, benedict, jishun, ben koh (along with kelvin and kinwai) were at orchard today.
benedict, jishun, kelvin and i checked out orchard hotel and the one opposite. orchard parade hotel. both were fully booked on monday, so even if we want to sneak, we cant do it. yea. alternative is hilton or marriot hotel which should have vacancies. but problem is that the cost is much higher. like approaching 300 for a room. yea, so we dont think many will want.
that is why its time for plan b!!!!!!
Plan B: Changi Airport
the plan is to take bus from outside the hotel (36) and go all the way to changi on the bus.. it terminates at changi. at changi we will maybe go burger king or something (there is starbucks also) should have swensens and some other stuff . i'm not sure though. so basically we'll spend the night there messing around. thats the plan!
rationale:
we considered going to someones house, but since the expected turn out is nearly 20, it would be quite mad to fit 20 boys into a house. and it wouldnt be nice to the host also. and since changi airport has food. and aircon. yea.
problems we may encounter:
some people may not be comfortable with staying at the airport. yea. if you have a better suggestion, please come forward with it. thanks (=
the BIGGEST PROBLEM is that since we have sooo many people, i'm afraid we may end up having too much fun! no kidding! me, benedict and jishun managed to keep ourselves entertained from around midnight to like, 5am before dozing off!! thats five whole hours! plus we didnt have anything to entertain ourselves with!! what more 20 ppl! yea.
so i hope you guys will give this a chance. after all, monday night is the last time we get to see everyone. except for the class chalet, which everyone should be going for.
